finished another round of relatives visiting this weekend. phew. but this should be the last round bah...cny ending anyways. but sadly, relatives-visiting does not = more angpows.
started tuiton with this kid...he's from china and his english is really really poor...its hard for me to even teach him coz he doesnt even really know the basics...i practically had to translate every sentence to him in chinese. how to pass the exams then? been thinking if i should give up..haiz. perharps telling the parents to send him to a proper english learning centre to learn all the basics would actually be better for him?
hooked on a novel that i borrowed from the library while trying to search for some books on touring hong kong. its been ages since i actually read a book. i must be bored out of my mind. waha.

chinese new year!

actually for me chinese new year is not really that special every year haha. but nevertheless its a joyous feastival =D . went to malaysia for a stayover as usual yesterday to visit mum's side relatives. when i was a kid it was quite fun as the kampong-like environment there was quite different. ate, watched tv, chit chat played cards and all...but as usual didnt sleep much.
caught the flu bug =( . ('_'lll) to feel sick during cny. lucky it was rest day today so slept a bit after returning from malaysia today and had steamboat at home just now. yum! gona be a packed day again visiting relatives tomorrow...
anyways celebrated wen's bdae on fri...shopped with wen and edmund to get her cny stuffs...the crowd in town was like omg. then had sushi for dinner at bugis with calvin. couldnt celebrate wen's bdae on the actual day today due to cny...so hope she got lots of angpows instead! =)
some of the yummy cny goodies at home, i've been munching on them nonstop!

year 2 is ending in a few days time. and i gathered that i basically screwed up my semester 2. skipped far toooo many classes! goodbye to a good gpa this sem. *faints. i will will will work hard for year 3!
but anyway, managed to earn some ce points this week. attended career workshops for straight 3 days which all ended at 7.30pm. its the latest time that i have stayed so far in school haha. but the workshop was very slack...we surfed web, chit chat, played games, ate chocolates...anything but paying attention to the presenter. =D
took many many pics this week...shall upload some next time.
andand...im having my long-awaited holiday trip soon. =)

shopping day yesterday! quite a fulfiling trip with moo haha. but the white top that i saw on friday was sold already. =( regreted not getting it that day. but anyway bought a top for cny, bag that i wanted and a pink mouse to replace my dead one. i wana get another top to complete my cny list...dont think im getting any bottoms or shoes this year haha. $$$ problems!
